Australian Technologies - Semi-finalists Announced

METS Ignited is delighted to announce this year's 2019 Australian Technologies Competition semi-finalists, with applications to the mining sector.

Congratulations to five METS companies who have been recognised as having the "greatest global potential", as part of an elite cohort of 33 semi-finalists from 10 industry sectors.

The competition will provide an exclusive mentoring and acceleration platform helping to raise the profile of the home-grown technology and increase recognition of Australia's global competitiveness.

The METS semi-finalists with applications for the mining industry are:

Checkbox
A no-code platform that digitises and automates assessments, workflow, and document generation.

Minebay
Underground mining toilet which can last underground for at least 12 months.

Protective Innovations
Technology to ensure personnel and machines do not come into contact with power lines.

Synengco
Engineering technology giving users the ability to create digital replications of assets and then monitor and optimise those assets and aid in the decision-making process.

Universal Field Robots
Fully and semi-autonomous heavy machinery for mining, agriculture and construction.

In late July, these companies will take part in a Growth Masterclass, ahead of Partner Connect opportunities in Sydney and Melbourne and the ATC Final Showcase and Awards event on 29 October, 2019.  METS Ignited to pleased to again sponsor the Mining Technologies Award as part of the Australian Technologies Competition.
